About Peter

The core driver behind Peter’s work is releasing potential for people to thrive.

Peter has over 35 years career experience spanning engineering, organisational change, conflict resolution, meeting facilitation and leadership development including coaching and mentoring.  He has worked with client organisations in Ireland, Britain, Europe and the USA.

To enable sustainable change in leaders and teams, Peter’s approach is based on a simple yet powerful understanding of how the human mind works and how we use our ability to think.  For individuals and teams, drawing on this understanding can be a key enabler for the psychology of change and performance.  Simple, practical ideas are used to help clients to develop their awareness, presence, creativity and impact.

Peter is a 1st Hons engineering graduate from University College Dublin (UCD) and he holds a post-grad diploma in Executive & Business Coaching from Leeds University as well as being a qualified Human Givens therapist. Outside work, Peter plays traditional Irish music and he performs regularly in a band doing children’s music shows in theatres around Ireland. In 2022, as a celebration of the music partnerships and friendships that he has enjoyed over the years he released an album called Easy and Free.

The power of story often emerges as a key factor when working with individual and team clients.

“The stories we tell about our lives become the stories of our lives.”

Our mindset, ie the stories and beliefs that we carry, can be either enabling us or limiting us. Through simple activities, clients can have a fresh look at these stories and beliefs and move on to creating new stories that better serve the individual or team.

“Peter’s approach is very personable, he develops trust and allows you to grow.  He has a crafty way of seeming to say nothing yet saying a lot.”
